St. Josephine Virtual High School Raised Over $9000 for Relay for Life

St. Josephine Virtual High School came together as a school community for their virtual Relay For Life to support and celebrate those whose lives have been affected by cancer. Student organizers created a powerful video to kick off and promote the event. St. Josephine Principal, cancer survivor David Nash, and Ottawa Mayor, Jim Watson, recorded supportive video messages for St. Josephine students, full of encouragement and gratitude.

The online fundraising featured class captains championing the efforts. Students virtually shared their fundraising links with friends and family and on social media to raise money and awareness.

St. Josephine raised just over $9000 during the virtual Relay For Life! The campaign ended with a whole school live virtual event that included entertainment, music, speakers, activities, and contests.
