Led by Cynthia Belliveau, a teacher at Blessed Carlo, a group of grade 6 to 8 students from Blessed Carlo and St. Josephine High School participated in a cross-Canada enrichment science and STEM competition. They completed hands-on STEM building challenges individually or collaboratively as a sibling team. These challenges consisted of small weekly builds and one large one at the end of the competition, all submitted through Flip Grid. Concurrently they studied high school science curriculum and represented our virtual schools in an online weekly science trivia competition. What a fantastic way to prepare for future education in STEM and science careers and build those essential global competencies!
